Step 3: Mounting surface
Simple or complex?
Check if your helmet has a straight or complex mounting surface. Complex helmet geometries are characterized by one or more of the following features:
Does your helmet have...
- ventilation slots,
- a curved mounting surface,
- a step between the fabric of the upholstery and the plastic frame
- or fabric with quilted seams that make the mounting surface uneven
Straight, flat mounting surface:
If the mounting surface in your helmet is straight and has no uneven areas, then you can proceed with installation variant C.
Complex / uneven mounting surface:
Proceed with installation variant D if your helmet has a complex mounting surface.
